Meet the requirements, apply, and once approved, you'll receive a registration number and a place in the National Herbalist Directory where clients searching for a Black herbalist will find you.

Earn Your Title
Heritage Herbalist $150
3–5 years of practice, 40+ culturally relevant plants, hands-on experience with traditional preparations, documented community contribution.
Ancestral Herbalist $200
6–7 years, 50+ plants, demonstrated lineage awareness, sustained community teaching and mentorship, submitted case narratives.
8–10 years, 75–100+ plants, active knowledge transmission through teaching, writing, or mentorship.
